This week we are looking at the McGregor Polytunnels 'MPM6680' mobile broiler building.
The MPM6680 is a fully mobile broiler house suitable for both free range or organic meat bird production, which has been specifically designed to create the perfect environment for rearing table birds on a commercial scale.
This particular model is suitable for the production of 1000 - 4000 meat birds, while the MPM4250 suits flock sizes of 200-900 birds.
Building materials, Construction and Installation
When housing large numbers of birds, PVC is the best cladding material to use due to its excellent longevity and hard-wearing properties. The triple insulated roof comprises of a PVC outer layer, a fibreglass and lay-flat polythene tubed middle layer and a PVC inner layer.
The MPM6680 is constructed using only high-quality materials, including:
- Galvanised steel
- Aluminium
- Honeycomb insulating plastic board
- Twinthene
- Fibreglass
- PVC
- Easy to clean and maintain
All of the McGregor Polytunnels Poultry buildings are designed to be self-installed and each building comes supplied with a detailed instruction manual. If you would prefer to have an installation team construct the building for you onsite this can be arranged with McGregor Polytunnels.
